What happens after meeting God?

The spirits of God’s elect stay in the presence of God (Heb 12:22-24; Rev 6:9-11). They wait for the resurrection to get their bodies glorified to house their spirits for eternity (II Cor 5:1-4; I Thess 5:13-14; I Cor 15:35-54). The spirits of wicked men are cast into hell to wait for the final Day of Judgment when they will be consigned to the lake of fire (Luke 16:22-23; Rev 20:13).
