Can God forgive my adultery?

Yes, God can easily forgive those who confess their adultery, but it is not easy to do so. Solomon warns clearly in Proverbs that adultery leads to death and hell (Pr 2:18; 5:5; 7:27; 9:18). He warned that this sin destroys men’s souls (Pr 6:25-33). Adultery is also addictive (Pr 5:22-23). But God forgave David immediately for his heinous crimes of aggravated adultery and murder (he had his own harem and killed a good friend). But the only repentance that works with God is godly sorrow (II Cor 7:10-11). You must learn Job 33:27 and use each of its three phrases.
