Why do you say “let” God be true?

The name of our website is from Romans 3:4, where Paul wrote, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar, as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.” The Holy Spirit gave Paul the words, “Let God be true.”

God is true without us. We know that. We certainly do not make Him true or help Him to be true. But we want to declare God’s truth against unbelievers just like Paul did, and we want to declare that all men are liars just like Paul did. The goal of our website is to spread God’s truth to counter the ignorance and rebellion of men that is promoted and spread everywhere today.
