What happens at the resurrection?

Jesus Christ will call all bodies out of the ground to appear before God (John 5:28-29; Acts 24:15). The righteous will get glorified bodies for their spirits to spend eternity in the presence of God and Jesus Christ (I Cor 15:35-54; II Cor 5:1-4). The wicked will get their bodies restored to house their souls in the tormenting flames of the lake of fire (Rev 20:13-14; Matt 25:41,46).
