When babies die, do they go to heaven?
We believe elect babies go to heaven and non-elect babies go to hell. Elect babies go to heaven based on David’s testimony about his son and the glorious, gracious doctrines of election and representation (II Sam 12:23; Eph 1:3-6; Rom 5:12-19). We believe non-elect babies go to hell based on Adam’s sin on their behalf in the Garden of Eden (Rom 5:12-19). God loved Jacob and hated Esau before they were born and before they had done any good or evil (Rom 9:10-13).
We reject infant baptism as the way to save babies, since it is not taught in the Bible, and which was invented by Roman Catholics and copied by most Protestant denominations. We reject an age of accountability, since it is not taught in the Bible, and which was another invention to avoid the doctrine of representation or the doctrine of imputation of Adam’s sin (Rom 5:12-19).
