Why were women created?

God created Eve to be Adam’s helper (Gen 2:18). After she sinned, her status was lowered further, with Adam being given greater authority over her (Gen 3:16). As a result, it is a man’s world. As a result, Paul could declare that the woman was created for the man, but the man was not created for the woman (I Cor 11:9; I Tim 2:13).
